Last week we headed to Blackpool to visit the Sealife Centre and see the new Jurassic Seas exhibition. Jurassic Seas is a fantastic exhibition of interactive games, cool creatures and set in some fantastic surroundings including fossils, bones and lots of hands on features including buttons for noises and narrative.
The girls loved looking at some of the creatures and were mesmerised by the Nautilus which Alison said was the weirdest thing she ever saw.
The thing that captured their imagination the most was the interactive computer game with featured a variety of mini games all based on prehistoric beasts of the ocean including the Megalodon and Plesiosaurus. With three screens you can have three kids playing at the same time.
As well as the Jurassic Seas exhibition we also enjoyed walking around and seeing the other aquatic animals that call Blackpool Sealife Centre their home. We loved watching the rays being fed and managed to time our visit perfectly so we walked in as this was just starting.
We love visiting Blackpool Sealife Centre and as it is on the seafront you can combine a visit with a trip to the beach, the amusements or even some of the other Merlin Attractions such as Madame Tussauds or the Blackpool Tower Circus.
