A different look at Butlins

The last time we went to Butlins it was Christmas, everything was snowy and twinkly.

This time there was a lot of new shiny stuff to look at.

From the new fairground, the gorgeous new shops and the Character Theatre/Discover Studio, Butlins is looking like a completely different resort.

We decided to use this Ambassador holiday to try things we have never tried before. The boys had All Action passes which enabled them to try the bungee trampolines, adventure golf, American pool, Go Karts and Bowling. We all had B-line passes and my mum and me headed to the Ocean Spa for a pamper package that consisted of a massage, facial and an afternoon tea.

I had never had an afternoon tea before or eaten at the ocean so i was pleasantly surprised by the food and a facial was a new experience for me too (one I will definitely be repeating).

We watched shows we wouldn’t normally watch including Just Jessie and used the B-line passes to ensure we had brilliant seats too. We watched some brilliant new shows from the Skyline Gang and Sesame Street and enjoyed meeting some fabulous new redcoats as well as seeing some old faces.

Every holiday to Butlins is different and even though we will be back in three weeks there will still be so much we haven’t seen or done that we won’t be bored. I have even been nice enough to book Hubby into the spa on our return. We will be staying in the Ocean next time we go which will be another new experience for us.
