On The Movies Backpack

We travel a lot and whether it is by car, train or plane the girls always need to be entertained and I usually find myself with a handbag full of gadgets to help keep boredom at bay.

A few weeks ago I was introduced to On The Movies when they sent Alison a Backpack to take with us on our adventures. Not only is the backpack big enough for her to store lots of bits inside it is also able to be wiped clean and has even been through the washing machine (on a hand wash) after a particularly messy accident with some juice.

The best thing about an On The Movies backpack is the 7″ android tablet that comes included (although you can buy both separately). There is a great see through pocket at the front that is the perfect size for the tablet which makes what a film nice and easy to watch on the move.

The bag and 8GB tablet retails at £89.95 which I think is great value. The tablet came preloaded with some great apps and games which the girls both loved and we added a 32GB micro SD card to the tablet loaded with some of the girls favourite movies. The tablet has a 1024 x 800 resolution screen and has a built in camera. The battery is not fantastic but can last up to 4 hours before it needs to be charged again. To be fair the battery life is really the only thing that lets it down.

The tablet has an android operating system which means it is easy to download more apps and the girls can get all their favourites on the one device.

We love the fact that you can attach headphones without having to remove the tablet from the bag and that you can use the touch screen through the clear window of the bag too.

We absolutely love the On The Movies backpack and tablet and it will definitely be coming with us on our future adventures.
