The MOGA Pro Gaming Controller has been created for those mobile gamers who dislike onscreen controls.  Unfortunately touch controls just don’t cut it when your playing those mobile games that require precision controlling.  Enter the MOGA Pro Controller, which is MOGA’s second attempt at a bluetooth controller for your android device.  If you’re a gamer who is use to using the Xbox 360 or PS3 controller, then you will enjoy the feel of the MOGA Pro.  It has two analogue sticks, D-pad, trigger and shoulder buttons, 4 front action buttons and start/select.  The build quality is surprisingly good, so much so that it even rivals console controllers. It has an in built rechargeable battery, which lasts for about 13 hours of game play (probably less with the action buttons illuminated).  What’s cool is that the controller comes with a back light for the front action buttons, so you can carry on gaming in the dark.  It also has a flip out mount to attach your mobile phone to the top of the controller.  When reviewing this product I was using a 7″ android tablet, which I really enjoyed but I couldn’t use the mount because the tablet was too big.  It will fit most phones out there, such as the Galaxy S3, Xperia Z1 and HTC One.

To get started using your MOGA Pro all you have to do is download the MOGA app from the Google Play Store.  Once you enter the app you will have to turn the controller on and pair it with your device.  You will then be transferred to the MOGA home screen which displays all the games that can be played using the controller.  As you can see in the picture below I was playing Sonic the Hedgehog but I was also able to play Pacman, AVP Evolution, Real Football 2013, Asphalt 7, Grand Theft Auto Vice City, Modern Combat 4 and Nova 3.  So the games on offer really compete with the handheld console market and it feels like your playing on a home console when using the MOGA Pro controller.

The MOGA Pro is easily the best android gaming controller to date and their is still further games to be released.  As long as they keep updating the app to work with newer android devices then it will be the perfect companion for your phone or tablet for years to come.
