Thursday saw me head to Morrisons HQ to visit the M Kitchen for lunch. Joined by Afra from Mad Mum of Seven we went to the local Morrisons store to buy a few select ingredients to challenge the chefs in a ready steady cook type challenge.
We found an amazing cut of lamb at the butchers counter called a leg fillet and also picked up a swordfish steak, some samphire and a variety delicious looking tomatoes.
The chefs cooked a curry spiced lamb with masala aubergines and pilal rice and Swordfish rolls with a cheese and herb crust with a tomato salsa and salted samphire.
All of which tasted delicious.
I have some serious work to do if I am to pull back from all my indulgences and temptations this week and that will require some serious willpower. Anyone got any I can borrow?
