UKBreakAways Blogger Competition

I know that competitions where you have to blog your entry can be a bit off putting but with £250 up for grabs plus other prizes I definitely think this one is worth a shot.

UKBreakAways want you to write a blog post which makes them want to visit your UK destination. The post could be a top things to see, your favourite place to visit, a travel guide to the local area or anything that makes the judges want to visit your chosen destination. Check out the how to enter details on the UKBreakAways competition page for more information.

To give you a bit of inspiration I thought I would show you some of our favourite places in the UK we have visited so far this year.

The Deep in Hull

The Deep in Hull is the best aquarium we have ever visited and seen as it is an across country drive that really does say a lot. A brilliant day and fabulous tanks, plus penguins too!

The sunset in Ayr Scotland

I love Scotland and when we stayed in Ayr we got to go to farm parks, local festivals and generally relax. The sunset over the bay was fabulous to watch each evening and finished the day nicely/

Edinburgh Zoo

Being able to see Pandas and Koalas really made this trip worthwhile and although it isnt our favourite all time zoo (South Lakes Wild Animal Park is) we really enjoyed the zoo and its enclosures. Seeing Baby Penguins was really special too.

Butlins Bognor Regis

There isnt much I can say about Butlins that I have not said before but this is definitely one of our highlights of the UK and we always recommend it to friends, families and complete strangers.

Blackpool

A day out in Blackpool is so varied you can never do it all from Madame Tussauds and the Sea Life centre to the amusements, the Sandcastle water park and the entertainment available on the Central Pier such as Cirque Du Hilarious and that is just if the weather is not great. Add to that the beach, the donkeys, Blackpool Pleasure Beach and the zoo and you have a fun filled day no matter what the weather.
We have visited so many fantastic places in the UK this year and previous years, I think my biggest tip would be to visit as many of these fabulous places as you can because they don’t need a passport to visit and we should appreciate all the amazing places we have available to us in the UK. I look forward to reading some of your entries and finding new places to visit!
