Lookout at the Lowry with Alex Winter

The Lookout at the Lowry is a brand new free-to-use family activity space for kids of all ages.

The Lookout officially opened last Thursday (8th August) with a special launch event hosted by Cbeebies favourite Alex Winters who was on hand to meet and greet and entertain the kids with an interactive story session. The girls had a fantastic time listening to Alex as he took up on a bear hunt and read a story about Aliens who love underpants.

The Lookout is open everyday (Sun-Fri 11am to 5pm, Sat 10am to 5pm) and provides a dedicated space for under 5s to curl up with a book or play some games, while older children can be inspired by the glorious views of the Quays to test their drawings skills. I can see the space being used for some fabulous family events over the coming months and I will definitely keep you informed with anything that I hear.

The Lookout will have a programme of family friendly activities available throughout the year including interactive drop-in sessions and fun-filled galleries exhibition tours as well as Lowry discovery packs for kids to uncover all that there is to know about the North West’s most visited attraction. I also hope to host a Blogs Up North even there soon to show it off to even more people.
