Holiday Extras – making trips away more organisedJune 14, 2016
When you are getting ready to go on holiday there is so much that you need to think about, insurance, parking, travel money, getting to the airport, the list is so long. Having somewhere that can help you organise some of these things makes life a lot easier.
For our trip with Canvas Holidays to the Netherlands over the May half term, we worked with Holiday Extras to test out their parking options. Unfortunately, because of the time of the morning flight we were not able to use the Meet and Greet facility as we had to be at the airport before that is available so instead we used the normal long stay parking facility. The one we used was Purple Parking near Heathrow airport.
Dropping off the car and getting on the minibus to the airport was quick and easy but the ride to the airport did seem to take forever so I would definitely recommend heading there at least 30 minutes before you can check in so you don’t panic about running out of time. When we returned we went to the bus stop as instructed and waited a few minutes for one to arrive to take us back to the car park. When we arrived we were handed our keys which told us which aisle our car was in and off we went.
The whole thing was so easy, from booking to being provided with all the information you might need to picking up your car at the end of your holiday and I would certainly book this again.
Holiday extras offer a lot more than just parking with hotels, lounges, car hire, insurance, transfers, taxis and even currency cards. In fact, it is a one-stop shop for everything you need to make your holiday go smoothly and you can book as little or as much as you want depending on your requirements.
We will certainly be looking at Holiday Extras for our next trip away to help make me more organised.
