Christmas Wishes

July 8, 2013 Off By Laura TMOT
Last week saw me attend two different Christmas in July events. The first one was for UKMumsTV where I was part of the panel who helped to choose the Mums choice awards. The event was fantastic and I managed to meet up with some of my favourite pr representatives and see all of the new toys due out on the market in time with Christmas. Below are some of the products I loved which were not chosen in the Mums Choice Shortlist.

A great family game by Esdevium games this Jake and the Neverland Pirates inspired test of skill will be a huge hit with kids and parents alike. I am eagerly awaiting a review copy of this game so I can show you what it is like in more detail. I could have spent most of the day playing with this one.

Novi Stars are a huge hit in our house. I think it is because they don’t look like a normal doll. I took a few photo’s from the Novi Stars stand but Elizabeth has decided that this is her favourite one.

We are hoping to have some Novi Stars from the different ranges coming soon so we can tell you all about the extra features and amazing attention to detail that these dolls seem to display.

There are three types of Novi Stars that I saw. The curl and coil, Invasion and Super Novas. All three ranges had individual fab

There is a few on the list that I disagree with, for example the Plum products Fire station seemed over priced for what it was and I scored that quite low. In fact I didn’t really like any of the pre-school products listed above. I do agree that the top toy in all of the rest of the categories is fantastic and I really hope to have the chance to review some of these for you in the lead up to Christmas.
The other Christmas in July event I went to was for MiComms on Saturday. It was a family event with Tatty Teddy, Sonic the Hedgehog and Father Christmas there too. The girls and Hubby came along with me and we made a day of it.

I loved this event as it was in a real house and each room had been turned into a character room with Sonic, Tatty Teddy and more. There was a whole room full of Nickelodeon characters and even the kitchen had been overrun with Annoying Orange products.

Elizabeth has already announced what she wants from Santa and I can not say I was very surprised. Tatty Puppy is a fantastic interactive toy that not only responds to your touch but also to the Tatty Puppy app that we reviewed previously.

Although this is not on the market yet it was great for the kids to play with, it barked, moved and responded well to things that were happening on the application as well as the touch of the children. I think Santa might have to come early for this as I can’t wait to play with it either.

Elizabeth didnt want to leave the Tatty Teddy bedroom and I can see why.

Alison fell in love with the Nickelodeon room and I can’t say I blame her. She loves all things Nick as she calls it. Her Christmas present of choice was the TMNT Scooter and Helmet. She literally stole it from the room so she could go and play with it outside.

She also loved all of the spongebob products and the Dinosaur train items.

There was so many things to see and the house looked very festive. Some of my other favourite items are pictured below.
