When Elizabeth woke up yesterday morning it was with a smile on her face and a spring in her step because she knew where we were going.
She quickly got dressed and spent a few hours patiently waiting for the other members of our household to wake up.
We decided to follow the instructions at the front of the store.
The girls were so excited and were off stroking, cuddling and umming and aaahing over which friend they wanted to take home and what they were going to call them and how they were going to dress them. So many decisions so little time.
Choosing your new friend takes a lot of thought as there are so many beautiful, cuddly teddies to choose from.
Choosing a sounds for your bear takes even more time with so many to choose from. I personally loved the heart beat but Elizabeth chose a lullaby and Alison chose One Direction.
This was Elizabeth’s favourite part of the day. She loves the fact that she stuffed her own bear by using the foot pedal.
Elizabeth’s pink disney princess bear is loving being dressed up a Merida from Brave. I think she looks pretty awesome and her bow, arrows and wig make it even more real.
Once stuffed, dressed and ready there was only one thing left to do as far as Alison was concerned and that was to show him how much she loved him.
Registering the bears births was really fun and both of the girls loved filling in the details themselves.
We all had a really good time and Elizabeth loved it so much we have booked her 5th Birthday party for her and some of her cousins to Build A Bear. There were lots of parties going on whilst we were there and it looked fantastic and all the children seemed to be enjoying themselves.
Dude and Candi have become a part of our family already and I am sure that they will come on many adventures with us.
