A spur of the moment decision as we were driving up the motorway saw us heading to Alton Towers Resort to spend a night in the Splash Landing Hotel and join in with all the fantastic Moshi Madness that was taking over resort.
Using our Merlin Pass discount we got a room and passes into Splash Water world which was an amazing watery experience that the girls absolutely loved. We headed in their on the Saturday afternoon before going down to the Underground Disco and having a dance, solving puzzles at puzzle palace and colouring in Moshlings on the miniature colouring wall. The girls really loved all the moshi themed activities whilst Hubby and I chilled out on the glump bags.
After a fantastic night sleep in an extremely comfy (if small) bedroom with us on a queen and the girls in bunk beds we headed back to Splash for an hour after breakfast before making our way into Alton Towers to help Buster BumbleChops, Poppet and Katsuma save the golden egg from Dr Strangeglove and collect our special moshling figure

We had great fun on the rides and the weather held out. The girls really enjoyed the whole experience and have already asked to go back to stay at Alton Towers again and we enjoyed it so much we are definitely considering it!
As for the Moshi Monster trail we danced, limboed and whistled our way to a fabulous sparkly Mrs Snoodles which both girls loved.
