I have always enjoyed eating at Jamie’s Italian although sadly I am always far too tempted by all the delicious bread so I doubt my weight loss will be very good this week. However we were all so full that we didn’t have pudding so atleast that is one bonus for the diet.
Anyway onto the important bit. When dining with children I do find that they are usually offered rubbish quality fast food type options which neither of mine enjoy and we have been known to order an adult portion for them to share or just sharing ours with them along with a selection of sides. Luckily this is not the case at Jamie’s Italian as they do seem to recognise that our children are just little humans and like to feed them real food. I was quite tempted by some of the meal options myself.
They were also given some kids packs which are a good sign that children are welcome.
Next we went on to the spinner game. This actually featured 7 fantastic games which are easy to plat around the dining table and which we had great fun playing together. Elizabeth was very good at What’s in the trolley and I was the only person who failed at the A-Z game, I mean can you name a food item beginning with X? With these games to keep us occupied and a couple of bowls of olives as well as the bread basket the minutes flew past and soon dinner was on the table.
