Red Hot World Buffet Chefs Table

There is nothing quite like writing a post about food to get your tummy growling.
A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to be invited along to the Red Hot World Buffet Chefs Table in Manchester. Now i am a huge Red Hot World Buffet fan, i love it, Hubby loves it and the kids love it. In fact we all love it so much that we always end up eating until we are nearly sick and then we dont eat about for about 24 hours.

The chefs table is different though.

With specially selected small courses you are guided through a variety of the gorgeous dishes that they sell with copious amounts of wines which match the tastes perfectly. This is not an evening that you want to drive home from.

The menu had me drooling before I had even smelt the food.

The food itself was phenomenal, the sushi was the freshest I have ever tasted and the way it was presented was amazing. In fact all of the food looked too good to eat but I wasn’t there to look at it and so I really enjoyed munching my way through all seven courses.

My favourite course was the street food. In fact that is always my favourite when I go there with my family. I am definitely a starters person and they do these so well that I can just eat two plates of those and nothing else.

The main courses consisted of a risotto and a chicken teriyaki stir fry. Both of them tasted amazing and I could have happily have had second.

The risotto was perfectly cooked and of a brilliant consistancy with the seafood evident but not overpowering. The Chicken teriyaki although not the most photogenic of the dishes was extremely tasty and you could tell it was made with fresh vegetables.

In fact because it was 7 dishes they were very careful not to over ace us. They wanted us to enjoy all 7 of the courses and finish comfortably full. This seemed to work well although I would happily have had all three varieties of the pancake.

The trio of desserts pretty much filled everyone up. All of them were divine but I especially enjoyed the creme brulee which is a favourite of mine.

We then ordered coffee and sat back and chatted some more whilst we waited for our dinner to go down.

Even coffee didnt come without a treat though and I thoroughly enjoyed sampling the delectable sweet offerings that they had in store for us. It was a wonderfully relaxed evening with blogging friends old and new. I look forward to going to Red Hot World Buffet again soon and this time I might even order from the freshly prepared stations rather than just eating my way through the buffet.
