Family Friendly Restaurants – Cabana Brasilian Barbecue

We love eating out and we had heard some great things about Cabana Brasilian Barbecue so when we were invited to sample some of the items on the menu we couldn’t resist. Our local Cabana is in the Corn Exchange in the centre of Manchester but you can also find them at multiple locations in London as well as in Leeds and Newcastle.

Trying to choose what to order was really hard as everything sounded amazing. To begin with we ordered the Guaca-Molho (homemade guacamole and unlimited corn chips) for the girls and a bucket of Spicy Malagueta chicken wings and some fiery roasted nuts for us to share. The guacamole was really good and chunky and the girls went through three portions of corn chips!

For the main course we ordered Alison a cheese torrado and Elizabeth a cheese burger. The kids menu was a bit limited with the other options being a chicken burger or ribs but the girls really enjoyed their food and devoured the lot so although simple it was obviously great quality and delicious.
For the main course I chose the Spicy Malagueta Chicken with sweet potato fries and coleslaw and Adam chose the 8oz Cabana Steak with fries and rio beans. My chicken was lovely and spicy and cooked on skewers with red peppers and it was absolutely beautiful but I was very jealous of Adams steak after tasting it as it was deliciously marinated with chilli and cumin which gave it an amazing flavour.
We all really enjoyed the food which was fresh, flavoursome and freshly cooked and we will certainly be returning to Cabana Brasilian Barbecue as it was a great restaurant that caters for the whole family and offers some lovely spicy food to please my palate.
