My girls have been after one of these y shaped scooters for ages so when I was offered the Yvolution Y- fliker A3 Air to review I couldn’t say no.
When it first arrived I put off opening it as I was dreading having to put it all together but I was really impressed to see that it all came neatly packaged. Assembly was really easy with just the handle bar needing to be attached using the included tool.
The Y-Flicker A3 Air is suitable for children aged 7 and above with a maximum weight of 80Kg so was absolutely perfect for Elizabeth.
Now I can’t quite get the hang of using a scooter like this but Elizabeth seems to have the right amount of wiggle in her hips and soon got the hang of whizzing up and down the street.
My one worry about having a Y shaped scooter was the ability to store and transport it but the Yvolution Y-flicker a3 air folds down really easily but unscrewing the two large red bolts near the front wheel. Once unscrewed the whole scooter folds down neatly although it does swing back open when carried. It would be good if there was something attached to the scooter which you could use to hold it all together when folded.
The scooter seems to work well on a variety of surfaces and Elizabeth really enjoys using it.
I would definitely recommend this scooter for quality, ease of use and price.
