Print your own mask with SnapStyle

Wearing a mask is now just a fact of life but that doesn’t mean that you have to wear a boring mask. I was recently sent this pack of 4 printable masks from Snapstyle where you design, print and make your own mask.

Inside the packet you get 4 sheets of printable material as well as filters, elastic, nose strip and adhesive tape to allow you to create your mask. I was really impressed with the quality of the filter and the nose strip as it really shows the thought that had gone into the design of these masks.

Using the app you can take a photo, use a photo you already have on your phone or use one of their built in designs to create your mask. It allows you to try a virtual version on to see if you like the design before you print it.

I used a photo of my dog Zeus as the first mask we made and in hindsight I think I should have opted for a brighter photo.

Printing the mask is really easy and the instructions on how to construct your masks are nice and clear. All you need is a pair of scissors and an iron and it can’t hurt to make sure you have enough printer ink stocked up.

Following the instructions turns that printable sheet into an comfortable, easy to wear mask designed to my specification. The elastic for the ear straps is comfortable, the metal nose strip allows for a great fit and overall I am really impressed with the whole thing.

Printable masks can match your outfit or feature any design you want and could be what is needed to get some people wearing a mask. After all they can’t say that they don’t like the design if they make it themselves!
