My magical mermaid came with two spare batteries and three rings. I was a bit confused by the rings to begin with but once I read the instructions it all started to make sense. The rings come in three different colours and each of them is a different weight. Depending on the ring you use depends on how your mermaid swims. You can make your mermaid swim along the surface in sky gazing mode or you can make her swim up and down in mesmerizing mermaid mode all by switching the weight of the ring on her tale.
To save battery power My magical mermaid will automatically switch off after four minutes, to reactivate you need to remove from the water for 5 seconds and then put her back in. You can also turn her off by removing her from the water and drying her.
