I loathe pink and dolls and basically anything overly girly yet Elizabeth loves them and she has been begging for a swimming mermaid doll for ages so when the chance came up to receive a Moxie Girlz Magic Swim Mermaid doll for review I just had to get it for her.
The Magic Swim Mermaid doll uses two contacts on the bottom which when connected by water or a wet finger enable the tail to start moving which helps the doll to swim through the water. It reminded me of the old bath toys we used to have where you placed the duck on the water and it started quacking. When I was a kid I used to think it was magic too. The other great feature on the Magic Swim Mermaid doll is the colour changing tail which is really good as when it dries it comes back slowly and is very pretty and mesmerising to watch.
One brilliant thing about this mermaid is that it has meant more baths for Elizabeth which is something we have been struggling with since Wiggle came out as she is still a bit nervous about getting wet even though she doesn’t have to be.
So not only is it “Super Cool” and “Awesome” it is also a practical way to keep your little princesses in the bath longer
