#Win an ipad mini thanks to Bake Escape

If you were following me on social media this weekend you might have seen that I nearly burnt our early christmas dinner because I was too busy playing Bake Escape to pay attention to the timings. You might also have seen me vent my frustrations as I battled to catch up with some of the other bloggers I know who have also been playing it.

Bake Escape is a new match 3 app based game that is highly addictive and competitive. When logged into Facebook you can see what your friends have scored and also where they are on the map as well as share your scores when you beat them which I think is a nice touch. I am currently on level 68 being beaten only by Helen from My Crazy Kitchen and I am itching to get back to it so I can catch up.

Battling my way through jelly, cream puffs, cookie dough, chocolate eggs and cake bombs my latest nemesis is the chocolate bar. Never before has eating chocolate been so much hard work but I know I will beat it.

Taking the blogosphere by storm the hashtag #BakeEscape has allowed us to track each others progress and share our triumphs and our failures as well as secretly laugh at those far behind us. Bake Escape is a highly addictive game that follows the simple match 3 principle but with so many twists and challenges that you need to think clearly about every move you make.

Currently only available for iOS the Bake Escape app will be the next big game and if I was you I would get started on it soon. You can download it from the app store. The app does have in app purchases for coins so if you are letting the kids have a go make sure they don’t know your apple id password.

The game has a french theme and you can see the Eiffel tower in the distance as well as listen to the relaxing french inspired music that goes with the game.

The game allows to you collect daily coin bonuses which you can save up for either more lives (if you are impatient like me) or more moves or power ups to help you defeat the hard levels. Your lives get replenished one for every 25 minutes which means you are not waiting too long before you can battle the baking again.

This is a highly addictive, extremely fun challenging game that will have you frustrated and exhilarated all at the same time.

Check out this video to have a sneak peak at some of the levels.

Now fortunately for me the app is currently only available in iOS which means it is not on my phone, which in turn means I am not glued to it 24/7 as I don’t carry my iPad out with me everywhere I go. However with it only being on iOS we know that means that not everyone has the chance to play it so to help solve that problem Exient the makers of the game have got an Apple iPad Mini to give away. Follow the instructions on the rafflecopter widget below and good luck!
