Summer Family Fun

September 4, 2013 Off By Laura TMOT

The Summer holidays have drawn to a close and what a fantastic summer it has been. I am exhausted just thinking about all of the fantastic adventures we have been on. I am glad the girls are back at school now at least I can have a short break from our fun packed lifestyle each week.

Mark Warner holidays and Kiddicare have teamed up to ask some of us parent bloggers to recap all of the Summer family fun we have had and in return one of us will win a fantastic holiday. Well it would be rude not to enter wouldn’t it?

With this being the first ever summer that I have been home and not working and with Elizabeth’s treatment going really well we have been here, there and everywhere trying to cram as much fun on the sun as we could into 6 short weeks.

Picture

The schools break up, all the parents scream
The children run and dance and eat ice cream
The mums and dads start to pull out their hair
Six weeks with the kids at home it isn’t fair!Six weeks of fantastic fun, I say to mine
Six weeks of summer come rain or shine
Forty three days to spend all together
To fill with adventures whatever the weather.

The summer is over and school has begun
It is time to think back on all of that fun
We visited toy fairs and played with the toys
Lots for the girls and more for the boysWe went to London to see some art
Lots of new Moshi Monsters and one like a heart
We saw Mickey Mouse and friends on the stage
I would recommend it whatever your age

We went bowling together just us girls
Celebrating our goes with whirls and twirls

Made ours in a tree it was ever so dark.

And Alison refused to put on a dress
To Butlins we traveled for a weekend of fun
With circus and Skyline gang and lots of sunWe were sad to leave Billy and all our Redcoat friends
We will be back there before the year comes to an end.
A week more with Nanny meant even more places
With legoland and the farm making happy faces
