I was reading the lovely Emma and Three blog the other day and saw her competition post to win an ipad mini. I would never spend the money on one but win one, well why not. To enter the competition I had to write a post about Moments that Mattered in 2013 so TaDaa! Here it is.
So what moments really mattered for us in 2013? The moment that Elizabeth returned to school after her diagnosis with Leukaemia? The moment she had her nose tube out? The moment she had her hickman line removed? The one year anniversary of her diagnosis? These moments were all momentous occasions and yes they did matter but some moments mattered to us more than those. They were the moments when we didn’t let cancer get in the way.

The moment that mattered most to me was our week away in Kos. A week of not being on treatment, a week away from illness and a week of fun.
I look forward to making more moments that matter in 2014.
