It isn’t often I get jealous of one of my kids but when Alison’s new Casper mattress arrived last week I couldn’t help but go a bit green with envy. Each Casper mattress is made up of four different layers. The top layer is 1.5″ of proprietary foam followed by 1.5″ of supportive memory foam, a 1.5″ transition layer and finally a 5″ support which gives an overall depth of 10″. The top layer is breathable and easy to clean as well keeping you cool by allowing the air to circulate.
Casper describe their mattresses as having just the right sink and just the right bounce and Alison agrees. I usually like a firm bed but I tried laying on the Casper Mattress and I was really impressed with the support that I received from the different layers. It was really comfortable and that is why I am jealous because as much as I love my bed it just isn’t as comfortable or as supportiveas Alison’s new mattress.
The Casper Mattress arrived rolled up in a surprisingly small box and I was amazed when I opened it and saw this single mattress all rolled up in an air tight wrap.
Once unrolled you have to open the wrapping to allow the air to get back into the mattress.
It didn’t take long for the Casper mattress to regain its shape. The outer sides have a grey edging which looks very stylish and the top looks so inviting you just want to reach out and push your hand into it.
Casper Mattresses come with a 100 night trial which I think speaks for itself. If a company is willing to do that then they really believe in the quality of the product that they are selling and with surprisingly low prices as well I would definitely recommend these mattresses if you want a new one. A single mattress costs £350, a double costs £550 and a king size costs £600 which is a lot less than the mattress we were looking at a few years ago. As well as the 100 night trial the mattresses also come with a 10 year warranty. Casper has been recently awarded the Which? Alison is absolutely loving her new mattress and has slept in each morning which means I am not looking forward to trying to get her out of bed when it is time to go back to school in a few weeks.
