We have worked with Camp Bestival over the last few years in return for free tickets and hope to attend again this year. However, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Camp Bestival has activities and shows that are suitable for people of all ages. Knowing where to look for the best activities can really make the difference in your festival experience. Below I take a look at the top activities for each age range to help you to plan your time at Camp Bestival.
Soft Play Tent – This is a great space for under 5’s that is in a tent away from the weather. There are also lots of different workshops taking place in this space which are great for kids of this age.
CBeebies Bedtime stories – End the day with your little ones at a CBeebies bedtime story with an array of special storytelling guests.
5 to 12-year-olds
Spinney Hollow Woodland Crafts – One of the chargeable activities but one that my girls both love. In this area, you can weave willow, make a weapon and more. You can also see various fireside entertainment.
Bigtopmania kids theatre and circus – Bigtopmania is a place full of energy. Learn to ride a unicycle, walk the slackline, ride a crazy bike.
Science Tent – The science tent is full of hands-on science experiments that can mesmerise and astound. From slime to rockets and everything in between the Science tent is full of great activities to keep your kids entertained.
Lizzies Way – My girl’s favourite area in the whole of Camp Bestival. Lizzie’s way is a magical place full of fairytales and mud, lots of mud.
Less about the activities and more about the acts on the stage, the teens will love the headliners taking over the main stage. From Jess Glynne to Rak-Su, the main stage is bursting with top acts, DJs and more.
