The kids are back at school and we are all slowly settling back into some kind of routine. But with back to school comes a whole host of other activities and commitments. Work schedules, homework tasks and of course all the after-school clubs and activities, throw in the cleaning and cooking that needs doing daily and sometimes it all becomes overwhelming.
So, with that in mind, I am always on the lookout for any products or ideas that are going to make things easier, quicker and simpler, especially in the after-school rush. One of those jobs is cooking dinner and being armed with decent snacks for the kids after school since they always seem to come out so hungry!
Recently I have been using Bacofoil® The Non-Stick Kitchen Foil to save me time in the kitchen and it has been a total game-changer. No more having to grease trays, no more stacks of trays to wash at the end of the day and no more peeling little bits of foil off our food once cooked! It has saved me so much time and effort since using it. That’s because Bacofoil® The Non-Stick Kitchen Foil has a unique BacoLift® surface which prevents food from sticking, even the stickiest of foods. Just don’t forget to use the dull, non-shiny side as this is actually the side that has the non-stick surface!
Whether its crispy fish fingers, sticky sausage pinwheels or even deliciously gooey chocolatey twists, they all easily peel or lift from the non-stick surface of the foil. There is no need to use any additional oil or butter etc to line the tray, making it a healthier option, and it saves on the washing up, for a hassle-free midweek solution on a school night. It’s easy to recycle the foil after use too – just give it a quick rinse under the tap and pop it in the recycle bin. These chocolate twists and sausage pinwheels are super easy and quick to make plus they make the perfect after school snacks for kids. They can be eaten on the go as you walk, or drive home and they are filling too.
Another product we have found has really come in handy since the kids went back to school is the Bacofoil® All-Purpose Zipper® Bags. These handy bags have been perfect for packed lunches as they are a good quality bag with resealable secure zip closure. We have tried them with sandwiches, fresh fruit, biscuits and leftovers and they worked well with all. The bags even contain a handy place to write on the front of the bag so you can write what is inside or perhaps a date, so you know when products were made. What’s great is The Zipper® Bags are completely reusable and have a handy standalone base making them easy to fill, store and use.
