When I was pregnant with both of our girls I had a 3D scan with pictures and video to help us determine the gender and to generally feel all soppy. I had always assumed they were a newish invention but did you know they were invented in 1987?
In fact some of the things we took for granted were actually invented a really long time ago. For example baby formula was first invented in 1867 and the dummy was invented in 1900.
