We can laugh, we can sing, we can make anything.

They can even make learning phonics fun. As a registered childminder I know just how hard it is to not only teach children their phonics but to also find resources that create the sounds correctly.

So many children’s toys do not sound out the letters using the correct sounds and it only adds to confusion. fortunately Alphablocks are there to help and this DVD is a huge hit with my girls. They even chose this one to watch in the car on the way to Alton Towers.

The cheeky Alphablocks get into so much trouble by creating the wrong words that the girls love watching it. I thoroughly enjoy listening to the words that each of the characters use. Using long descriptive words beginning with their letter they are not only teaching phonics with their sounds but they are also teaching some fabulous vocabulary to the children.

T is my favourite with tremendous and triumphant although I comes close of incredible and important. I am already noticing a change in the girls use of vocabulary but then again they have watched it every day since we received it a week ago, some days more than once.

Definitely a hit in this house and one that I would recommend for children aged 3 to 5 or maybe even earlier, its never too early really.
