The girls have loved the Book of Life since the adverts first graced the sides of the buses in Manchester and we rushed to the cinema on their demand when it came out. Now I wasn’t sure the kids would enjoy it as it is a different sort of animation but they seemed to love the Mexican folklore and they really enjoyed the style that the film was created in.
Book of Life is now available on DVD and we were lucky enough to get sent a copy to enjoy along with a sombrero, a couple of masks and a fabulous guitar.
We had a great time watching the film and although it isn’t one of the years big blockbusters I think it is a great family film that I think everyone should see.
