We love Barbie films and Barbie as a mermaid is one of our favourite themes.
The new Barbie the Pearl Princess is a fantastic film where we see Barbie™ transformed into Lumina, a mermaid with a royal secret. Lumina and her seahorse best friend, Kuda, embark on an adventure in which her dreams of one day becoming a princess come true. Alongside her royal ambition, she possesses a magical power to make pearls dance and glow.
Accompanied by Kuda, Lumina travels to a fabulous kingdom where she uses her powers to create fabulous hairstyles for all of her friends as they prepare for the Royal Ball. Whilst at the ball she discovers that her magical pearls are the key to unlocking her true destiny and ultimately saving the kingdom.
Elizabeth absolutely loved watching this DVD and I am pleased to say that I enjoyed it too which is definitely a positive as I have already watched it three times!
