If there’s one thing our cats take seriously, it’s mealtime. So when Pidge and Thalia had the chance to try Untamed cat food, there was plenty of excitement in our house and a lot of eager pacing around the kitchen.
After trying both the gravy and broth varieties, it’s safe to say they were thoroughly impressed. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever seen my cats so enthusiastic about dinner.

The moment the tins were opened, both cats were instantly interested, hovering nearby and making it very clear that serving time needed to happen immediately.
One of the first things I noticed about Untamed was just how good it looked. Unlike some cat foods that can be, a little questionable in appearance, this genuinely looked like proper food. You could see the quality ingredients, and the texture of both the gravy and broth recipes looked fresh and appealing. I was also suprised how much was in such a small tin.
Even more surprising was the smell. Rather than the overpowering scent you often expect from pet food, Untamed actually had a pleasant odour, good enough that you could almost believe it had been prepared for humans. It looked fresh, smelled fresh, and felt reassuringly high quality.
As for the real judges, Pidge and Thalia, both the gravy and broth options were a huge success. Bowls were cleaned quickly, and there were plenty of hopeful looks afterwards as if to ask whether a second dinner might be an option. It’s always reassuring to find a cat food that not only seems nutritious and thoughtfully made, but that cats genuinely love eating. With Pidge and Thalia happily tucking into every meal, Untamed definitely earned its place on the approved list. After all, this really is food they’ll go wild for.
