Today saw the official opening of the newly refurbished Go Outdoors store in Penrith. The store was opened by BBC Good Morning Live presenters Helen Skelton and Gethin Jones and the day was packed full of family fun including face painters and entertainers. The first 200 customers through the door were given a £20 voucher and a further 100 customers were given a goody bag worth £25. There were lots of eager customers who were up early enjoying the morning sunshine to see the ribbon cutting and to get a chance to look around the refurbished store before deciding what to spend their voucher on.
After a Q&A session, customers were able to meet Gethin Jones and Helen Skelton for autographs.
The refurbishment includes the addition of a full sized Naylors Equestrian and Bike 365 departments. Go Outdoors is the ideal store to visit for hiking, camping and fishing equipment as well as loads of other outdoor pursuits. To celebrate the new look at the store Go Outdoors Penrith is offering an extra 15% discount until 12th June.
Go Outdoors has always been my go to store for camping equipment and it is where I purchased our latest tent from.
