This summer we will be boarding the new Carnival Vista cruise ship for an 8-night cruise around the Mediterranean. To help get us excited for our time aboard the brand new ship we headed to Xscape Yorkshire where a lot of the facilities were similar to those aboard the ship.
The first thing we went on was the Skyride which is very similar to the SkyCourse on board the ship. We had an amazing time and the girls cant wait to get on board the ship so that they can climb on the SkyCourse over and over again.

Next up we went on the XD Experience which is like the Thrill Theatre onboard the Carnival Vista. The Thrill Theatre is a 3D cinema experience on special seats that allow you to experience it through your whole body.
Both of my girls love playing mini-golf and it is a great way to spend an hour or so, there is a mini-golf course on every Carnival ship so all of their guests can have a game and it is included in the price.
We visited Xscape on the weekend that Kung Fu Panda 3 came out so we couldn’t resist watching it on the large Imax screen. The Carnival Vista features the very first Imax at sea so we can’t wait to experience that.
When it comes to food the Carnival Vista has a huge variety of restaurants and snack bars to experience including a shake spot, BBQ, Steakhouse, Asian, Mexican, Italian, Pizza, Burgers, Sushi and so much more. In fact, we are not on the Carnival Vista long enough to be able to sample every restaurant even if we ate at a different one for each meal!

We have 143 days before we embark on our cruise with Carnival aboard the Carnival Vista and we can’t wait to experience this amazing ship and our first ever cruise.
