What to do at Total Adrenaline in Longendale

When looking for fun things to do over the Summer Holidays I reached out to Gemma who writes for Families Tameside to see if there was anywhere she could tell you all about. Below she tells you all about Total Adrenaline one of her kids favourite places to visit.

With the summer holidays approaching fast we have started to plan our days out and activities. Along with lots of outdoor activities such as parks, National Trust properties and farms, we have been realistic and made sure there are plenty of rainy day options as well.

One of our favourite indoor places to visit is Total Adrenaline in Longendale. We love it as it is conveniently located near the end of M67 and as it houses a huge soft play frame – iPLAY Zone , a Laser Zone and a Trampoline Zone, my children Harry (7) and Isabelle (4) never tire of it.

There lots of trampoline parks around Manchester, however, the Trampoline Zone at Total Adrenaline is definitely our favourite. Along with their 36 trampolines they have a basket ball zone , speed walls, dodgeball zone and tumble tracks. Although it is smaller than other parks, there is definitely enough to keep Harry and Isabelle occupied with the added perk that I can easily keep an eye on them ( if I am not having a bounce myself) .

Entry into the Trampoline Zone also includes the use of the Agility zone, a ninja warrior style warrior course. It boasts a giant foam pit , a balance beam , hoping posts, rings and a tall climbing bag and it is a big hit both Harry and Isabelle . They always spends as much time here as on the trampolines and it has been great to see them get braver and perfect their techniques with each visit.

It is not only the Trampoline Zone that attracts us to Total Adrenaline. We are also big fan of their soft play area, iPlay Zone. This is a big play frame set over three levels with lots of exciting features such as tunnels, a two lane slide, mini sports pitch and a disco zone. We can literally spends hours here and my children and their friends never seem to get bored.  As the café and seated area is situated next to the play frame, I usually get to drink a fair few of their lovely coffees and actually finish conversations with other parents.

Due to Harry and Isabelle loving the other two zones we haven’t yet tried the Lazer Zone . We have however had a look around and it looks great. There are lots of places to hide and to move around and we will definitely be giving it a try over summer.
