This Halloween half term Chester Zoo will play host to the magic of the Wild rumpus team as they help to host The Enchantment of Chester Zoo.
We are huge fans of Wild Rumpus and have enjoyed attending a few of their events including The Just So Festival and The Lost Carnival. We can’t wait to see what they have in store for us at The Enchantment Chester Zoo this half term and we will be heading there on the very first day, Saturday 22nd October, so that I can share our thoughts with you in time for you to get tickets and experience it for yourself.
The idea behind the event is that an evil sorcerer is casting a spell on Chester Zoo, trying to steal the super powers of nocturnal animals. Visitors will spend part of the day helping to break the spell. The event will play host to performers, musicians, aerialists and acrobats as well as a whole load of curious animal characters with incredible skills. We will be searching for the nocturnal aye-ayes and learning about the Montserrat tarantula as well as loads more creatures of the night.
The enchantment of Chester Zoo event will be held between 22nd and 31st October and will run from 10am – 2pm each day and is free with zoo entry, but booking is advised to guarantee a place. We have always found that Wild Rumpus always take our expectations and blow them out of the water so this is one event that I am really looking forward to attending this half term.
