A few weeks ago I headed of with the girls to spend the night at the Ox Pasture Hall Hotel in Scarborough. The suite we stayed in was absolutely huge and we had separate bedrooms as well as a separate lounge area. This was perfect for us as a family as I didnt want to go to bed as early as they did and it meant I got to relax and watch some tv before I headed to bed.

The bathroom was fabulous with his and hers sinks as well as a large bath with waterfall tap and a separate rain shower.
The room was so comfy that we almost didn’t want to leave it to go for dinner but the Courtyard Restaurant was tempting us and so we headed down to sample the delights of the evening menu. With so much to choose from I struggled to decide but with the help of the waiter I finally three delicious courses.
As well as Dinner and Breakfast we also had the chance share an afternoon tea. This was the first afternoon tea that the girls had experienced and they loved the small sandwiches but the huge variety of cakes and puddings was what they enjoyed the most.
The Scones seemed to go down well too.
I do have a question for you though. When eating afternoon tea, is it jam or cream first?
