Lots of fun at Legoland Windsor

Yesterday I headed to Legoland Windsor with the girls and a few members of my family. First I met up with a few blogging friends Chelsea mamma, The Boy and Me, Mummy of many talents and Mummy Mummy mum to watch a preview of Hero Factory when the brains attack. I am glad the girls were not with me for that bit because it was quite grown up for them and contained mild violence.
We headed over to miniland afterwards before going to Atlantis to go on a submarine adventure. The girls loved hiding in the tanks.
Although it was cold, and there was even a touch of snow, Legoland was fairly busy however none of the rides had that big of a queue and we were able to go on quite a few before we decided to head home.

The one place we hadn’t seen was the Legoland Hotel so we headed over their to enjoy a buffet lunch. They didn’t flinch when I said there was 15 of us and quickly found us some tables so we could enjoy our lunch.

Not only was the hotel really well decorated but the food was nice too with lots to choose from for the kids and the adults with something to please even the fussiest eater. I had a nice healthy jacket potato and a grilled chicken breast and even finished with a nice fruit salad. I will definitely be looking at spending a night at the hotel for a special treat soon.
