Just so Festival is back for 2017

February 3, 2017 Off By Laura TMOT

In 2015, we went to the Just So Festival for the very first time and had an absolutely amazing time. We were really sad to miss the event last year whilst we were off having amazing adventures elsewhere but as it is now 2017 it is time for me to start getting excited about our year ahead.

Not long ago Just So Festival announced that it is back at Rode Hall in Cheshire on the 18th, 19th and 20th of August and we can’t wait to spend the weekend prancing around the forest enjoying our time together as a family in this special environment.

If you are yet to attend a festival as a family then I would definitely recommend Just So Festival as the perfect first family festival. The festival has so much going on from shows to watch, crafts to make and so much more. In fact, the website has some fantastic information for First Timers which will help you work out what to pack, what to plan and how to really get the most out of the event. If you have been to a festival before yet have never been to Just So then I would still recommend giving it a good read as it will tell you all about the tribal tournament, the massive pillow fight and more of the Just So Traditions.

As well as taking part in some of these fantastic events and watching some of the spectacles that seemed to appear out of nowhere, we also spent time just chilling out, playing in the forest, rolling down the hills or messing about in some of the weird structures that were dotted around the site.

We saw some crazy and unusual characters, we watched some wonderful shows and were mesmerised by acrobats. We saw some spectacular sights that caught our imaginations and made us want more. In fact, we only saw a small amount of what was on offer at Just So and we can’t wait to explore more of this magical event in 2017.

Just So gave us the opportunity to do things we have never done before. We bartered in sticks and rocks and fir cones and received golden pebbles in return. We worked together on teams of animals with families we had never met. We chanted our animal chants and just generally had an amazing time as a family outdoors.

As a family, we could not recommend this event enough and we are over the moon to be working with them as Just So Official Adventurers to share our experiences of the festival with you on my blog and social media channels.
