John Fowler Holidays – Trelawne Manor Holiday Park Pet Friendly Holiday

When we got a puppy earlier this year I was worried that we would struggle to go away but I didn’t need to worry. During the May half term, we visited Trelawnne Manor Holiday Park to stay in one of their pet friendly holiday caravans. John Fowler Holidays kindly gifted us the caravan accommodation for four nights so that we could share the experience with you.

We previously stayed with John Fowler Holidays at their South Bay Holiday Park in Devon in a Platinum Caravan so I was interested to visit the new park and see the difference in the accommodation.

We were allocated a silver pet friendly holiday caravan which was really close to the centre of the resort which meant that we had a large field opposite to walk the dog and we were within easy reach of the park, swimming pool and entertainment complex.

After staying in the Platinum caravan I was expecting the Silver Pet-Friendly Caravan to be a big step down in the quality but I was very pleasantly surprised. The soft furnishings were of lower quality and with a bit less of a design focus but overall the caravans were very similar.

The caravan we were in was a three-bedroom caravan with one double, two twins, a shower room with toilet and a separate toilet.

Trelawne Manor Holiday Park has some great facilities including two pools, one of which is outdoors. It also has a great outdoor water slide. Although the accommodation was pet friendly we were unable to take our puppy into the manor but this wasn’t a problem as there was lots of outdoor seating.

The grounds at Trelawne Manor Holiday Park include crazy golf, tennis courts, a woodland walk and even a dog park.  There was so much to do that you didn’t really need to leave the site but if you wanted to then Looe was just a short drive away.

We loved spending a few hours wandering the shops in Looe, eating fish and chips and crabbing off the harbour wall. They had some great local produce shops including bakeries that sold cornish pasties and delicious scones.

We loved spending our time at John Fowler Holidays Trelawne Manor Holiday Park and we hope to visit more of their sites soon.
