Gringotts Bank is coming to WB Studio Tour London

If you have been following the WB Studio tour social media channels over the last week then you might be just as excited as me by the next announcement. The studio tour is opening its largest expansion so far with the addition of Gringotts Bank.

The biggest permanent edition yet allows visitors to walk through Gringotts bank, visit the Lestrange vault and check out a gallery full of Goblins showing how they were created.

Gringotts Bank was home to many fantastic scenes in the movies, from Harry’s first trip to the bank to the moment that Harry, Ron and Hermoine escape Gringotts on the back of a dragon. I can’t wait to see the marble columns lining the room and the piles of galleons stacked on the Goblins desks.

Opening on 6th April, Gringotts Bank will welcome visitors into the Grand Banking Hall where they will be able to walk through the hall, taking in all of the details. From the three crystal chandeliers to the Goblin tellers desks covered in inkwells, quills and piles of coins from the wizarding world.

Once through the banking hall, visitors will find themselves in the Lestrange vault surrounded by treasure. Visitors will have a chance to have a special photo taken that shows them surrounded by treasure in the vault.

In addition to Gringotts and the vault, they will also be unveiling a 17,000sq ft new lobby and cafe that will serve food and drink inspired by the wizarding world with seating for 500 people.

The Warner Bros Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter opened at the end of March in 2012. In those 7 years, we have visited many times and each time we have been blown away by the attention to detail on each of the sets which makes us even more excited to see the biggest expansion to date open to the public and we can’t wait to share it with you.
