We had a #FrankiesParty at Frankie and Bennys

We love eating out as a family so I couldn’t refuse when we were offered the chance to head over to Frankie and Bennys to try out their new Festive Menu. With the tree up, christmas songs playing and the new festive kids packs we were certainly feeling festive and that was before we even looked at the menu.

With the kids happy playing we ordered our starters. Adam chose the Meatballs Italiano with hints of chilli and red onion and I selected the Goat’s cheese and red onion garlic bread which was absolutely divine. I love Goat’s cheese and this really allowed the flavour to come through.
For the main course I ordered the Pulled pork and cheese burger and Adam ordered the Christmas Chicken Pitta. The burger came with a delicious festive chutney that added a lovely twist to the delicious pulled pork. However the thing I loved most was the Christmas Chicken Pitta which I made Adam share with me as it looked delicious. The pitta was stuffed with seasoned grilled chicken, bacon and lashings of cranberry sauce. Suitable festive but not over the top.
Pudding consisted of Red velvet cake and Bourbon Salt Caramel Cheesecake. Both of which were delicious. The Cheesecake tasted quite strongly of Bourbon but it didn’t over power the other flavours. The Red Velvet cake was moist and the vanilla cream cheese frosting was divine and the portion was so big I had to share it with Alison.
