Family friendly theatre shows at the Lowry

We love going to the theatre and with our visit to watch Wicked coming up soon I thought I would share some fo the fabulous family shows coming to the Lowry theatre soon. So here are the five that really caught my eye.

The Ministry of Science
Sat 20 June – Sun 21 June

Who knew science would be quite so much fun. The Ministry of Science Live show promises explosions, bangs and more. This is one show that puts the fun in science.

Aliens Love Underpants
Thu 2 July – Sun 5 July

We adore the Aliens love Underpants books in our house so seeing the stage show is a natural progression. With the use of fantastic alien puppets and stunning effects join the Aliens on their journey to find more underpants.

The King Of Tiny Things
Thu 6 August

An amazingly visual story bringing together the circus, puppets and songs to tell a tale of two girls who go on a late night adventure into the world of strange creatures, can they rescue the king of the tiny things?

Dinosaur Zoo
Fri 30 October – Sun 1 November

Coming direct from the West End, Dinosaur Zoo will be hitting the stage to introduce the audience to some of their dinosaur friends. Dinosaur Zoo shows cute baby dinos all the way through to large prehistoric giants.

Mr Popper’s Penguins
Thu 10 December – Sun 10 January

Mr Popper’s Penguins tells the amazing story of a house overrun by penguins. With puppets, songs and a fabulously funny story everyone will be enchanted by this performance. Add to that the magic of the festive season and it is a perfect winter activity.
