Cavendish Hotel – Family Friendly Luxury

Some times life smiles at you and when I found out I could stay at The Cavendish London again I couldn’t believe my luck.

After spending an exhausting day at Lollibop it was definitely something to look forward too and the sight of the nespresso machine was a very welcome site.

The junior suite we stayed in was the perfect size for a family of four and the added touches really make you realise just how welcome the girls were. With colouring books, small dressing gowns and complimentary warm milk and cookies the girls absolutely loved there stay.

We all enjoyed the luxurious settings, the comfortable beds and the huge bathroom. In fact we could have stayed there forever.

With a king sized bed, a double sofa bed, a sofa, table and tv unit plus a desk in the corner and a nice reclining chair it had everything you could possibly need for a night away from home.

The bed was so comfortable and even the sofa bed was deemed perfect by the girls who managed to sleep all night. The pillows were plump, the duvet was snuggly and in fact I couldn’t find anything wrong with the beds at all.

In fact for once I couldn’t find anything wrong and I suppose that is what you expect when you stay in a high class hotel.

In fact we had more than could be expected from a high class hotel. When we realised that we had failed to pack an overnight nappy for Alison and phoned the concierge service and one of the staff went to the nearest chemist to purchase us a packet of nappies. Now that is what I can family friendly service.

After a really relaxing nights sleep we engorged ourselves on the all you can eat breakfast buffet including freshly cooked waffles, pancakes, hash browns, black pudding and all varieties of eggs. The breakfast was a sumptuous affair with everything you can ever imagine on offer from fruit, yogurt, pastries and cooked breakfasts.

We left feeling completely stuffed, extremely satisfied and very well rested.

All in all we had an amazing night and one I hope to repeat soon in the future.
