We have always loved the Zoomer range by Spin Master and have reviewed a lot of the larger products that they bring out but with their high price points, they are not accessible to everyone. With this in mind Spin Master has created a range of smaller price point Zoomer products over the years. The latest in this range is the Zoomer Zupps Pretty Ponies.
There are six Zoomer Zupps Pretty Ponies to collect and they retail for around £13 although I have seen them as low as £10.
We were sent Sugar a pale pink pony. Suitable for ages 4 plus each of the Zoomer Zupps Pretty Ponies have a head and a nose sensor. They also have light up eyes and come with a comb so you can brush their hair.
The Pretty Ponies are interactive and respond in a variety of ways based on how you touch their sensors. To activate the head sensor you need to stroke the bridge of the nose between the eyes. To activate the nose sensor you need to press on the part of the nose which is not hard plastic. By stroking her head you can activate a number of features such as neigh and whinny. You can also make the Pretty Ponies neigh “I love you” by stroking and then pressing on the head sensor. If you press the ponies nose they will make cute sounds and if you press and hold its nose it will make a kissing sound.
Each of the Pretty Ponies has their own secret trick and to activate this you need to very quickly stroke down the nose and press the nose two times. This does take practice but once you get the hang of it then it becomes second nature. Sugar plays a pop song when her secret trick is activated.
The Pretty Ponies have an on/off switch under their body and a battery compartment although it does come with batteries already installed. The back legs of the pony can be bent so that the pony can sat down as well as stood up.
