Unless you have been living in a cave for the last year or so you are bound to have heard of Tsum Tsum (pronounced Zoom Zoom). Disney Tsum Tsum plush have been popping up all over the place in a variety of sizes and character options and they are completely adorable. Tsum Tsum which means Stack Stack in Japanese originates from a highly engaging, fast paced and exciting social media game, developed in partnership with LINE. The app game became available in June 2014 and I have to admit to being one of those people who lost many hours playing it. Disney Tsum Tsum characters have been available in plush for a while but they are now available in new Tsum Tsum Squishies varieties made by Zuru.
Tsum Tsum Squishies are super cute squishy oblong shaped Disney characters that are perfect to collect and swap with friends or just to stack on top of each other. The first series of Tsum Tsum Squishies featured 5o characters from some classic Disney films including Elsa and Mickey Mouse. Each Tsum Tsum squishy is a few inches in length and are made from a shiny plastic material that is soft to touch and they all have super cute features. We received Daisy Duck, Olaf, Marie and Cheshire Cat.
ZURU have now launched Series 2 which sees the Tsum Tsum Squishies become flocked. This whole new range of characters means that the squishies are strokable and fluffy too.
We loved Series 1 Tsum Tsum Squishies but Series 2 are absolutely adorable and the girls absolutely adored them. They are determined to collect even more to join Piglet, Baymax, Tramp and Patch (from 101 Dalmations).
Zuru have not only released Series 1 and 2 of the Tsum Tsum Squishies but they have also created the fantastic Tsum Tsum Toy shop playset which comes with 2 exclusive Tsum Tsum characters and can hold up to 30 Tsum Tsums. They have also created some Tsum Tsum Plush toys that feature light and sounds to help bring the traditional Tsum Tsums to life.
