Teletubbies say Eh oh! New Toys now available

The day is finally here and we get to open the box on some of the fantastic new Teletubbies toys by Character Online.

Across a lot of blogs today you will be able to see a variety of the toys and do head over to read some others as we each got sent different products. I cant wait to see  some of the other toys in the range.

 So what was in my box?

Well we decided to open the largest parcel first which revealed the Superdome Playset. The playset comes with a Po figure holding some Tubby Toast. It has chairs and a table which spin around, a clear elevator which can be moved up and down and a mirror surface area on the floor at the base of the elevator. There is also the Tubby Toast machine and a Tubby Toast button, pressing the button makes the Tubby toast pop up and produces sound effects. The Noo-noo can also be moved along the small track and produces sound effects. The best bit about this set is the four buttons at the front.  The Po button actually produces  sound effects from all four Teletubbies, the musical note produces a short piece of music that I assume is featured on the tv show, the tubby phone activates the lights and sounds of the tubby phone next to the elevator and the tubby splat button produces three different splat noises.  It has an on/off switch on the base and takes 3 AAA batteries which come included. It has an RRP of £29.99.

 

hsi is a great playset with lots of moving pieces and cause and effect sounds that young children will love. The set can also be connected to smaller sets such as this smaller Music Day Playset with comes with a Laa-Laa figure holding a trumpet.

The Music Day playset includes a piano which produces three different short melodies, the flower podium area produces four different short melodies including a short version of twinkle twinkle little star, the last interactive element of the Music Day playset is the drum which can be pressed to produce two more short melodies. The Music Day Playset takes 2 x LR44 batteries which are includes and has an on/off switch on the bottom. It has a RRP of £14.99.

 There are a selection of Teletubbies plush toys to buy including a large Lullaby Laa-Laa, Jumping Po, 8 inch talking plush toys and small supersoft collectable plush.

We were sent two of the 8 inch talking plush; Laa-Laa and Tinky-Winky. Each of the 8 Inch plush have velcro on the back which opens on to a small battery pack with 3 LR44 which come included. There isn’t an on/off switch which does mean it can be activated by accident.  The phrases are classic character phrases , giggles and noises including “Big Hugs”, “Again Again” and “Eh Oh”. The plush is really soft and the face is flocked plastic giving it a warmer, softer feeling. The eyes are plastic with lots of amazing colours in them that really make them stand out. These have an RRP of £9.99

We were also sent two small seated plush; Po and Dipsy.  The plush are in a seated position with beads in the bottom area to keep them upright. They have the same soft plush feel and flcked face but the eyes are less complicated. These are the perfect size for little hands to carry around with them and play with them on the go.

In our box we also received the Tubby Phone which has been extremely popular by all the children who have been in our house since it arrived.

 

The Tubby phone allows you to call the Teletubbies by pressing the corresponding coloured Musical note to the Teletubbie you wish to call. on the Tubby Phone! The Teletubbies will chat, giggle and sing to you! The more you press the buttons the more responses and sound effects you will here. If you leave the phone without pressing buttons, it will light up and ring as the Teletubbies call you back. The mirrored surface looks really good with the images lit up behind it and when it isn’t lit up young kids will love looking at themselves. The Tubby Phone has an on/off switch on the back, takes 3 LR44 batteries which are included and have an RRP of £9.99

The last thing in the box was a few more figures to add to our playsets. The invidual figures allow you to collect them all for a greater play experience.

We have loved playing with all the new Teletubbies toys and will now be giving them to younger members of our family who are just being introduced to the joy of Teletubbies as they are back to bring enjoyment to another age of children.
