I love a good set of stationary and it seems that I am fostering these habits in the children too. Give them a nice pen and a notebook and they are just as happy as if you had given them an expensive toy. This Snowman and the Snowdog stationary is well made, super cute and practical. The little snowdog on the top of the pen is adorable and the glitter shine to the outside cover of the notebook is reminiscent of Christmas. The cover of the notebook has a cut out design through which you see the Snowman. The inside pages are decorated with a lovely blue pattern which makes each page a delight to behold and makes the notebook extra special. I have hidden this away for a Christmas surprise and cant wait to see their faces.

Odd ducks come in 8 patterns made up of 4 different shaped ducks. With slim duck, bob (round duck), squish (almost flat duck) and Jane (female rounded duck). This is a Jane duck and it introduces children to different shapes of things that are all essentially the same. I like the idea of making things that normally all look the same look different and I suppose it could help stimulate interesting thoughts about why one duck is rounder or flatter than another duck.

Odd ducks do not have holes in the bottom so they do not absorb water and therefore do not get slimy on the inside which is one of my pet hates about bath toys.

The latest in the Blue Nose Friends series sees Flash the pink dragon, Avery the blue fluffy chick, Tinsel the Artic fox and Ziza the grey African elephant join the Blue Nose friends gang. Looking particularly Christmassy Tinsel is a super cute white fox that the girls both wanted with Flash going to Elizabeth, Avery going to Alison and poor Ziza sat waiting to be claimed. They sorted it out eventually and the four new additions were soon added to the collections with lots of hugs and strokes. Our collection of Blue Nose Friends is growing yet the friends they bring out and the names they are given are still as fantastic as always.

A brilliant quality small stuffed toy that will be loved by old and young alike.

Nothing says Christmas like a new hat and glove set, or is that just me? Every year I go on the search for the perfect hats for the girls and this year I was lucky enough to be sent these knitted animal hats and matching mittens by Regatta. With fleece lining they are super warm and the animal faces mean the kids well in love with them straight away. It is taking the girls a bit of practice to get their thumbs in the right place in the mittens as the fleece lining sometimes moves around inside the gloves but we have had no complaints of cold fingers since they started wearing these.

If there was ever a stocking filler to give to a child then an item from the Crazy Soap range is perfect. We have reviewed lots of different products from the mouldable foam, body paint and bath goo some of our favourite review products to date. We have now received some Shake and Sparkle bath foam (with lots of glitter strands) and a colour changing bath foam that sees the orange liquid turn blue when added to the bath.

Anything that makes bath time more fun is definitely a hit in this house and I look forward to see what Crazy Foam comes up with next.
