Over the years we have tried lots of different NERF blasters so the girls were really excited to receive the NERF N-strike Elite Rukkus ICS-8 through the post. This battery-free blaster is easy to load and can hold 8 darts at a time.
Suitable for ages 8 plus the NERF N-Strike Elite Rukkus ICS-8 has a built-in load clip that isn’t removable and it comes with 8 Elite darts which are made for distance. The darts are loaded from the front and the clip automatically moves to the next available dart when firing.
The NERF N-Strike Elite Rukkus ICS-8 is a pump to prime blaster which was a little bit stiff, to begin with, and Alison struggled with her left hand. It did get easier and once she had worked out how to shot with her left hand and pump with her right hand she was soon faster than I was.
The NERF N-Strike Elite Rukkus ICS-8 shoots the included Elite darts quite a distance and packs quite a punch for a battery-free blaster.
This blaster has a low price point and is great value for money. Big enough to really make an impact on the battlefield without causing a big dent on your bank balance.
