Its lights out time

Black out blinds are one thing I have always recommended to parents of babies or older children, however I never really had one well not in the normal sense of the word. I am not very crafty but I bought some blackout material and sewed on some velcro, stuck the other side of the velcro to the window and up it went. It stayed there all the time as it was so high to put up every night and it wasnt easy to take down.

When we moved to our new house we bought Black out Curtains and they are rubbish, well maybe not rubbish they are better than normal curtains but they certainly do not black out the room. I was sent a set of Lights out blinds to review and a set to give away in my tombola and I have to say I was really impressed with their size. We have really deep windows and I wasnt sure that they would work but with the extension they fitted perfectly. Another benefit is that their are two in a pack and they are so big we have one in Elizabeths room and one in Alisons room. They are really easy to use and we take them down every morning and they go back up again at night. In fact the reason it has taken me so long to write this is because they have just become part of our every day routine.

The other thing I love is that they can come with you when you go on holiday so its like getting two products for the price of one and talking of price it is not something I normally mention in my reviews but seriously these are worth every penny and in comparison to black out curtains they are even cheaper, just wish I had heard of them 6 months ago.
