Introducing Wetmore Forest by FunkoNovember 27, 2019
When I was at Dream Toys a few weeks ago, I was introduced to the wonderful creatures from Wetmore Forest from Funko. Available from John Lewis the Wetmore Forest range includes books, POP! figures and plush.
“Once upon a time somewhere deep in the heart of the pacific Northwest, there is a wooded glen known as Wetmore Forest. Among the great mossy, beareded trees, shrouded in mist, lives a furry band of critters that come in all shapes and sizes, each with their own particular personality. They are called Wetmore Monsters.
In this enchanted place, mosses and ferns blanket the surfaces of fallen trees and streambeds, wildlife roam freely among bubbling creeks, and magic seems to lurk around every corner.”
Wetmore Forest looks like an amazing place and the Wetmore Monsters are very, very cute.
We were sent the following products to introduce us to the range.
There are six characters that we are introduced to with these products
Tumblebee is strong and loyal and generous with hugs. He sees the world through innocent eyes and marvels at its simple beauty.
Butterhorn is a gentle monster who always sees the beauty in everyone. She is easily excitable and loves adventure. She always has her nose in a book or spends her time hanging out with her friend Snuggletooth.
Snuggletooth is a natural leader, brace and determined. Fiercely protective of all of those who are close to her, she is a true friend..honest, trustworthy and dependable.
Bugsy Wingnut is the smallest member of the group. A keen-eyed explorer and joyful observer, Bugsy is always eager to help out in whatever way he can.
Chester McFreckle loves to solve a problem. Chester has a seemingly bottomless curiosity and a habit of taking things apart and then putting them back together again.
Picklez has energy to burn and a gift for lightening up a serious mood, this green long-eared rascal loves nothing more than a little good-hearted mischief. Extremely speedy and smart as a whip.
There are a few different books available which tell stories about the Wetmore Characters and share more about their personalities. These books are great for bedtime stories and have lovely messages to them. They are full of cute colour illustrations which make them perfect for a bedtime story.
What better thing than to listen to a bedtime story and cuddle up with a gorgeous soft plush. We were sent Bugsy which has cute little wings on its back and is so soft and fluffy I honestly don’t want to share him with the kids.
I have to say we are a little bit in love with the Wetmore Monsters and we can’t wait to add to our collection.
