DK pre-school books

When I was hunting through my Britmums bag back in June i came across a book by DK books. It looked brilliant but was a little old for my kids. I jumped on google and found that they did a great range of pre-school books, a quick email later and a box of lovely books arrived on my door step. Hide and Seek £4.99

This summer sees the launch of two new titles in DK’s ever-popular Little Hide and Seek series for pre-schoolers. Have fun with your toddler while helping them learn with Little Hide and Seek Words and Little Hide and Seek Animals. Help your child to turn the pages as they solve riddles and spot fun surprises. With five themed hide and seek scenes and a big pop-out at the end, your child will want to return to these books again and again. Look, learn and play together. We received the Animals one and its a really interesting book that allows the reader to search the pictures for the animals listed. A bit like wheres wally but a lot simpler and suitable for 2 to 3 year olds.

DK Wheelies £4.99

Introducing two new titles in the DK Wheelies series for your infant to push-along and play; Wheelie Duck and Friends and Wheelie Truck and Friends. A book and toy combined in one to make the ultimate, simple novelty book. Your child will love pushing them around, rolling them, racing them, and reading them. Simple words and large type help toddlers develop language and imaginative story-telling. Wheelie books, wheelie good fun! We received both of these books and they are really sturdy so they can actually be played with like a toy.

All their farmyard favourites are here from a sleeping sheepdog to Dotty the ladybird, who’s hiding in every scene. With over 300 fabulous objects to find, your toddler will love learning about life on the farm. A larger version of the little hide and seek books but with more intricate pictures these are a bit more advanced. My four year old loves this one.

Who Am I? £4.99

Develop your child’s word recognition skills whilst having fun with this brand new series for curious toddlers. Who Am I? Baby Animals and Who Am I? Farm Animals follows a familiar ‘guessing game’ format. With bright, bold pages, it will keep your toddler engaged over and over again. Read the clues aloud with your child to see who’s hiding. This playful peep-hole book is a perfect combination of learning and play. These are very simple and very obvious images that do not leave much to the imagination so suitable for children who are just learning their words.

A Zig-Zag Book £3.99

Toddlers will love the two new titles in DK’s ‘zig-zag’ series; A Zig-Zag Book Colours and A Zig-Zag Book Trucks. Read-along with your pre-schoolers as they search for the missing clothes and trucks. Simple rhymes and repetitive phrases build reading development, while the fold-out concertina page encourages manual dexterity. Follow the line, pull the tag, and unfold the zig-zag surprise! We received the colours Zig-Zag book where the children have to find the toys clothes.

All of these are great quality books which withstand the test of toddlers really well.
