Disney Big Hero 6: Projection Baymax toy by Bandai

Last week I was very excited to see all of the new Big Hero 6 toys on the Bandai stand at Toy Fair but when I arrived home I was even more excited as the lovely people at Disney had sent me my very own Projection Baymax Toy.

Picture

The Projection Baymax toy is 10″ tall and includes 8 scenes and sounds from the movie which is due out this week. Showing Baymax in his original form before he armours up and it is a great introduction to the character. Made from a lovely tactile soft squeezy plastic it takes on the characteristics of Baymax to really bring him to life.

It is really simple to use Baymax as you just move his left arm up or down to change the image projected onto his belly. Each image has accompanying sounds.

Big Hero 6 is an epic and heartfelt action adventure from Walt Disney Animation Studios that follows robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who learns to harness his genius thanks to his brilliant brother Tadashi and their like-minded friends: adrenaline junkie Go Go Tamago, neatnik Wasabi, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred. When a devastating turn of events catapults them into the midst of a dangerous plot unfolding in the streets of San Fransokyo, Hiro turns to his closest companion – a robot named Baymax – and transforms the group into a band of high-tech heroes determined to solve the mystery.

*I am still unsure of pronunciation of Baymax until I watch the film

Big Hero 6 is out in cinemas on 30th January and I think it will be a great family friendly film to go and see. Below is a brief description of the film
